Paris Hilton Denies New Marijuana Allegations

Paris Hilton is denying a report that she was detained on a French island Friday over a new marijuana-related incident. "So sick of people making up rumors about me," the socialite tweeted Saturday. "The latest one about me is completely false too. Don't believe what you read. Silly nonsense." The Agence France-Presse reported that police detained Hilton at an airport on the French island of Corsica on Friday after authorities allegedly found less than a gram of marijuana in her handbag. The news agency says police sources told them she was released shortly after without being charged. Earlier this month, Hilton was briefly detained and questioned by police in South Africa on allegations of smoking marijuana at the World Cup. Her rep told "The Insider" the case was subsequently dropped with no charges filed and claimed the incident was "a complete misunderstanding." [Read full story on The Insider]
