The late great Alexander McQueen will be remembered during a private memorial service during London Fashion Week spring/summer 2011, it was announced today.The designer's life and work will be celebrated during the service, according to a spokesperson for the Gucci Group, which owns the Alexander McQueen label. The delicate coral-coloured flower, named ‘Alexander’s Issy’, was presented to Blow’s sister, Julia Delves Broughton at this year’s Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. The unveiling of the rose was given double poignancy in light of the absence of the late Alexander McQueen.
